Please note, these LED lamps are CAN-Bus proof in most cases. This means the lamp will not give a warning on the dashboard. This mainly applies to older model cars and trucks. Newer vehicles may in some cases still get a warning on the dashboard. Additional lighting such as spotlights or skylights are excluded from this system.

Why this LED lamp doesn’t have E-mark:

Replacement lights must comply with European standards for safety, water resistance, and short circuit prevention (ECE R37). These standards are based on old incandescent and halogen lights. LED replacement lights cannot comply with this because they don’t have a filament. As a result, this LED light doesn’t receive the ECE R37 certification and officially cannot be used on public roads. You can safely use this BA15S LED light on your own property or, for example, in racing. This way, you get the most out of the light without causing legal issues.
