To install the Volvo FH5 daytime running lights, you need to follow the following steps. The installation of the complete DRL module will take about half an hour per headlight.

1. Remove the connector from the existing lighting.
2. Remove the screws securing the original diode holders.
3. Remove the diode holders from the cooling plates.
4. Remove the thermal paste and clean the surface well.
5. Bring the supplied thermal paste in a thin even layer to the cooling plates where the lamp will be mounted.
6. Push the diode holder into the thermal paste and secure it carefully with the original screw.
7. Insert the connector into the new diode holder.
8. The Volvo FH5 daytime running lights are ready for use.
