DRL unit for DAF warm white

DRL unit WARM WHITE, suitable for a DAF CF or XF 106 with year of construction 2016+.

Do you want to replace the original white LED daytime running lights of your DAF CF or XF Euro 6 model with a warm white color? Then this DRL set might be the set you are looking for. This set consists of four LED plates with which you can change both the left and right module. You can easily replace the originally mounted lighting with the warm white version. At the bottom of the page you will find the steps you need to follow.

Because you want to be sure the set is suitable for your truck before purchasing, we've listed a few important points here. It's important that the original units are exactly the same as those shown in image two. If the original unit doesn't match, this replacement bulb won't fit. Furthermore, the DAF 106 warm white daytime running lights are only suitable for models manufactured from 2021 onwards. This DRL unit is roadworthy, but during the vehicle inspection (APK), the garage may request that the original module be replaced. Therefore, keep this in a safe place to avoid problems during the inspection.

To install the DAF 106 warm white daytime running lights, follow these steps. Installing the orange DRL unit will take approximately one hour per headlight. Image 3 shows an example of how the set will ultimately light up after installation.

• You remove the front grille using the 4 bolts that hold it in place.
• After this you can access the 4 bolts that hold the headlight in place.
• Remove the headlight from the car and disconnect the plugs.
• Now you can access the original LED units from the back, which are secured with 3 bolts.
• Exchange the original module for the newly supplied variant. 
• Put everything back as disassembled.
