DRL unit for DAF warm white

DRL unit WARM WHITE, suitable for a DAF CF or XF 106 with year of construction 2016+.

Do you want to replace your original white LED daytime running lights of your DAF CF or XF euro 6 model with a warm white color? Then this DRL set might be the set you are looking for. This set consists of four LED plates with which you can change both the left and right module. You can easily replace the originally mounted lighting with the warm white variant. At the bottom of the page you will find the steps you need to follow for this.

Because you want to know before purchasing that the set is suitable for your truck, we have written down a number of important points here. It is important that the originally mounted units are exactly the same as those shown in image two. If the originally mounted unit does not match, this replacement lamp will not fit. Furthermore, the DAF 106 daytime running light warm white is only suitable for models from 2021+. Please note, the DRL unit does not have an E-mark, this means that you must reassemble the original for the MOT.

To install the DAF 106 warm white DRL unit, you must follow the following steps. The installation of the orange DRL unit will take approximately one hour per headlamp. Figure 3 shows an example of how the set will eventually light up after installation.

• You take off the front grille with 4 bolts with which it is attached.
• After this you can access the 4 bolts that fix the headlight.
• Remove the headlight from the car and disconnect the plugs.
• Now you can access the original LED units from the back, it is fixed with 3 bolts.
• Exchange the original module for the newly supplied variant. 
• Put everything back as disassembled.
