DRL unit for DAF NG warm white

DRL unit WARM WHITE, suitable for a DAF NG with construction year 2021+.

Do you want to replace the original white LED daytime running lights of your DAF XF, XG or XG+ with a warm white color? Then this DRL set might be the set you are looking for. This set consists of two LED plates with which you can change both the left and right module. You can easily replace the originally mounted lighting with the warm white variant. You will find the steps you need to follow for this at the bottom of the page.

Because you want to be sure the set is suitable for your truck before purchasing, we've listed a few important points here. It's important that the original units are exactly the same as those shown in image two. If the original unit doesn't match, this replacement bulb won't fit. Furthermore, the DAF NG warm white daytime running lights are only suitable for models manufactured from 2021 onwards. This DRL unit is roadworthy, but during the vehicle inspection (APK), the garage may request that the original module be replaced. Therefore, keep this in a safe place to avoid problems during the inspection.

To install the DAF NG warm white daytime running lights, follow these steps. Installing the LED lights will take approximately one hour per headlight. Image 1 shows an example of how the set will ultimately light up after installation.

1. Remove the connector from the existing lighting.
2. Remove the screws securing the original diode holders.
3. Remove the diode holders from the cooling plates.
4. Remove the thermal paste and clean the surface well.
5. Bring the supplied thermal paste in a thin even layer to the cooling plates where the lamp will be mounted.
6. Push the diode holder into the thermal paste and secure it carefully with the original screw.
7. Insert the connector into the new diode holder.
8. The daytime running lights of your DAF NG are ready for use.
